Factorization and Factors
Factorization is the process of breaking down an expression (typically a number or polynomial) into its factors, which are smaller expressions or numbers that, when multiplied together, give the original expression.
In number theory, factorization refers to the process of finding the factors of an integer, which are the numbers that divide evenly into it. In algebra, factorization refers to the process of expressing a polynomial as the product of simpler polynomials.
